Cold Air induction - Heat = less power

Doing a complete restoration of my 1998 212 EFI 5,7. Has anyone found or built any sort of direct air supply to outside air vents to reduce the intake air temp.? Sort of like the one Dodge put on the Little Red Express Truck years ago.
