Picked her up about two weeks ago. I'm a long time visitor of this site but don't usually post much. The guys I was talking to over in classifieds told me to post some pics, so I figured I'd give photo bucket a try. 2007 212 with 5.0 and captains call :D I've started my modifications by replacing the factory scrap metal speakers with kickers . I'm in the process now of installing wired remotes, one at swim platform, and the other beside me.

Progress so far. My pet peeve is pulling up to a cove or needing to say something and the person riding shotgun has the music as loud as it will possibly go.. Haha I don't know if I'm the only one? I'm putting one on the left rear also to swim up to. I will post more pics as soon as I get it cleaned up.

That is a nice ride!!!! 8) You'll enjoy that for sure!! I do like the addition of the radio controls mounted by the captain. Could never figure out why Caravelle never did that. My wife told me it was so I could never go on the lake without her....like I would do that. I have the Intercetor 232 with the factory radio along with the controls by the swim platform. Where can you get an extra radio control to mount like in your photo?

Thank you AndrewT! I will get one ordered tomorrow. Having the factory stereo in the dash by the passenger seat, and the control by the swim deck, where is the best place to wire into the existing stereo wires when placing this new remote by the captain's seat?

There is a "Y" cable that will allow you to plug two of the remotes into the head unit. My quick search did not find a link to share, but you will need the "Y" to have them both connected.

Yes I have and it's a pain in the ass but well worth it.
You will need to pull out your speaker and cup holder tray down by the floor (easier said than done) next snake and wiggle your arm in to loosen the pad screws so that you can reach all the way up to where the remote will be. use a hole saw to cut your remote hole and mount it. The "Y" cable can be run from the stereo under the front of your ski locker and through the other side (there is already a wire harness there that I zip tied the cable to, keeps it from sagging) then plug in reinstall everything and done.
