trim switch

Postby 1900carabr » Sun Jun 08, 2014 2:50 pm

Some advice needed! My trim guage has been acting funny for a while now and finally quit doing anything. It's stuck in the trim up position and so i installed a new guage but still the same. Any idea's where to or what to check?

After doing some more research i think it's the trim position senser. Has anyone cut and spliced the wiring at the outdrive, with any luck? My wires are in good shape and was thinking about cleaning the senser first.
