'88 whipray?

Postby Beemerburner » Wed May 17, 2017 3:33 pm

Hi everyone.
I know A LOT about sail boats, but this is my first venture in/with a motorboat.
This is my $1,300 find.
$800 in mechanics,
$300 detailing.

As of 5/15 all wood is out and will be sanded and then oiled with a mix of Boiled Linseed and paint thinner.
Last thing that needs to be done is to check for any leaks between the in and the outboard (the rubber gasket thingy?)
Matt

One thing that can be said about old boats. They sure have allot of character. Nice looking boat!
