Just realized Ive been posting my mechanical updates here so I'll stay with the trend. 2 issues I had was water in the out drive and random starting. Did shift shaft seal and thought I licked it but no, water still getting in. Decided to replace all the plug O rings, that was it!

Random no start: We would literally be on the water all day, get home to run water through her to flush and wouldnt start. 3 times it happened! First 2 times she would start a day later, last week, nada.. pulled ignition, fine, pulled safety, cut wires to override, fine then decided to pull the fuse/relay cover on top of the engine. Pulled and ohm'd all fuses, all good. For shits and grins I started pulling the relays and then tried to fire it, nothing. Got to the biggest relay, turns out its the starter relay, OVERLOADED with dielectric grease! I mean big time. Wiped some off, reinserted, damn if she didnt fire right up! Lesson.. too much of something isnt always a good thing.

Got the ole girl out yesterday and visited and island in the Potomac. She ran great but still has a random starting issue which Ive traced back to the starter relay. Have to wiggle it so Im dreading that it may be the panel when the relay seats. Ordered a new relay, we'll see if that helps.

Thanks all!

laundry list of fixes but I guess thats expected with any boat that sits for 4 years. We made it back out to that island yesterday, the water on the river was like glass. There is almost nothing better for an Interceptor owner than glass smooth water! I even got me 2nd mate involved, she drove for about a half hour while we headed back. Never sat in the bow while running, man I love my boat!

Thank you sir! Now that I have 95% of the gremlins out of the way I just might but.. Still cant figure out why the trim breaker keeps tripping when my daughter wake boards. I keep it trimmed in the whole time to make a decent wake. Soon as she gets out of the water and we start back, no trim. Push the breaker and were on our way. Very annoying..
