The site goes down for almost 4 weeks without warning before, or explanation after. I know it's the dead time of year for boating posts, but that's crap. Makes me glad I stopped sponsoring after selling my Interceptor.
Boatless, again.

Hate to %^$#$ but I agree. Some explanation would have been nice or at least a response to my email. Last time there was a post at www.caravelleboat.NET and there is where I looked but nothing there either.
Love the site, will continue to support it so we have it but...........

So sorry. I got no warning either - it was the hosting company that took it down because of some maintenance issues. There's no one that gets paid here to fix this thing, so I just had to wait in line until it could be resolved. There was no way to know how long it was going to take and I was out of town for a couple of weeks. Really hard to complain about a FREE forum. If you aren't helping financially (i.e. buyfire) to keep this thing going, then you have no right to complain! Thanks to the supporters who have been patiently waiting - I do apologize for the inconvenience.

It's that time again to find out if anyone is interested in keeping this forum up for another year. I will be posting new information soon about the 2015 fund drive. If you think you would be interested in keeping this forum alive, please give your "I'm in" here and if we have enough interested I will post a request for donations.

You're right, I don't have much right to complain, as I'm no longer a sponsor. I guess the title of my post doesn't adequately describe the reason I posted to begin with??? Not that a $25 donation is a lot of money to most, but I'll bet at least some the fine folks who do (still) contribute would have liked to know what was going on at some point.
Boatless, again.

Family Funeral to attend (out of state), Thanksgiving to attend (out of state), Anniversary cruise (out of state, out in the ocean) - all things kinda came up at the same time - the same time the forum was down. Pardon my lack of communication. Wasn't really sure what to communicate anyway, didn't take it down, didn't bring it back up. I was just praying it wasn't lost forever. Anyway, all's well now (for now). :-)

Rivertown...Thanks for letting us know. Life happens, just glad it is back up. Don't like to hear of the funeral, my condolences, but I hope the rest was enjoyable ....and happy anniversary!

On a good note the Forum is back! I will be supporting the forum again this year as I have found it to be indispensable. This forum and its members are one of the reasons I choose my 2007 Interceptor 232.......helped it had the 496 in it too :D . Rivertown thanks for all you do for the site! Maybe an email data base for a mass emailing in the future?? IDK, if there is any other help you need in the future shoot me a pm, I am sure there are other members that would be willing to help out......Now only if spring would hurry up and get here!!! Hope every one has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
