Calling Corvette owners....

Postby sdk » Sun Jan 06, 2013 9:24 pm

I have not been on the Caravelle forum much this winter, because I bought a
new toy in November.

Driving the Corvette on the weekends takes the sting out of seeing the winterized Interceptor covered up in the garage.

That's very nice!
I love cars and have several....the corvette is the one that is still missing from my garage!! You picked a nice color and wheel combination.

Looks good. Now you just need to drop it on the stock bolts (at least, if not more).

Why does it have the '05-'07 wheels if it's a '08? IIRC, those were no longer available in '08.

I can see it's a Z51, but is it a 1,2, or 3LT? Auto or manual?

You'll really enjoy it. The C6s are great vehicles.

Ah, that explains it. It was an early '08 model.

IIRC, that was also the first year they offered the cross drilled rotors with the mag ride control. Previously they were only available with the Z51.

The C7 release will be this Sunday. More info here: http://www.chevrolet.com/one13thirteen.html

You'll be able to watch the unveiling live online.

The Corvette has been my daily driver since I sold the Camaro 5/31/2013. Keeping up with 2 cars plus the Interceptor was going to be too much for me to handle.
