My new Camaro should arrive next week. Are there any other Camaro owners on this site?

Congrats, you are going to love it. I got my new Camaro in July. Silver Ice Metallic 2SS/RS with the LS3. The car is simply amazing. makes me smile every time I get in it. I have never had a car stir up so much emotion and interest in people. I was going to SEMA last week and when crossing the Hoover Dam people were taking pictures of the car. It is it's own celebrity status.

What did you get? Is this your first camaro? I have not owned a camaro before. Actually this is what brought me back to American cars. It seems GM has put out a really good product and as impressed with their offerings of late.

Make sure if you haven't already to check out Camaro5.com for a great camaro forum group.

I have a '02 Z28, black with tan interior. At the State Fair, sat in new Challenger, Camaro and Mustang. Mustang has the best exterior look, but like all tangs I have driven, I still feel squished and my shoulders start to have a tendency to roll forward. New Camaro seems to have the same amount of room as my current '02. Challenger has more room, and I really like. It does not come with volt/amp or oil pressure gauges, they use idiot lights. Found out Dodge has A-Pillar accessories, which mean you can order up to three gauges on the A-pillar. In the future, I may look at a trade for one of these Challengers. Probably the R/T with 5.7L. The 6.2L is nice but I will hardly ever use that much motor......kinda like my Interceptor....If I had the 496 I wouldn't use it much because I always (so far) have a boat load of people on outings. I'm not going to go 70mph with that load!!

I don't have a new camaro but have LS motors in my TBSS & SSS. also been pretty impressed with the newest GM products. Especially the new Malibu interior & Camaro exterior. Of course, the ZR1 isn't all bad either.
Boatless, again.

My 2010 2LT arrived last Friday, about a week earlier than expected. Aqua blue metallic, two-tone grey/black leather interior, 6 cylinder, auto tranny, 19" polished wheels, performance exhaust and (back ordered) performance air intake.
With my current 32 hour/week paycheck, I had to tell my dear friend the 2002 GMC Envoy goodby. I will be borrowing my husband's Silverado to tow the Interceptor.
I may have to ask one of you to post pictures for me. Let me know through a private message, if you can help me.

Here are some pics from our local group of Camaros in Phoenix. We had a cruise up to Sedona last Sunday. I have never been part of a car club...and let me say, "it is damn fun". Seeing a line of the same cars on the freeway/roads is an amazing site. Too bad there are literally no Caravelle's around the Phoenix area. (I think I might have the only Interceptor in the Phoenix area that I've seen) Would love to do the same with the boats! For some reason it is not too popular of a boat in the west. I guess that makes sense since I had to drive 400 miles to get mine and the factory is/was in the southeast.

My wife told me that I could go out this weekend and get a new Camaro! She said she has no problem with it as long as I sell the boat! Not worth it. :D
