More important: Galvanized or Stainless?

Y'all,

We're shopping for a ladder for our dock. Our requirements are:

1. Flip up,
2. Removable, and
3. 5-step.

So we've narrowed it down to these two:

or

The price difference between galvanized and stainless is significant. Is it worth it?

By the way: Giants. I'm sick of the Patriots already.

Home-made wood ladders are the norm on Lake Marion. They are cheaper and custom made by your favorite wood butcher!
