Bow filler cushion and rear bench

Postby bunker108 » Wed Feb 13, 2013 5:37 pm

I got a quote for $380 to have a bow filler cushion made and redo the vinyl on the rear bench seat on my 188. Does that sound reasonable?

I was waiting to hear from Caravelle on the filler cushion but after an initial response, I never got another response...even after repeated attempts. Oh well. They were also supposed to get back to me on a swim platform too.

marine vinyl and foam costs have gone up the last few years, doesn't sound outragious but......check around several places and make sure you're quoting apples to apples. I've just spent about $1300 getting all my upholstry redone over the last two years for my Seahawk 280. Got quotes that came close to $2000 for the same work and quality. Included six boltsters, two console front cushions, leaning post and back rest, and rear seat and back rest. Did not redo the front bow cushions.
