That's awesome. Thanks for sharing. My boys love jumping off rocks, especially my 10 year old. He probably would have jumped off that one 50 times.

We'll try and make it next year guys.

Take care.

We really enjoy our day with everyone despite the weather too! Here are some of our pictures. Thanks again for making the trip guys!

Image
We did not let the rain showers get us down. None of us has ever had our Auto bildges come on before! We stayed at the north end of the lake most of the day until the rain quit on the south end.

This is the same sheltered cove that rward was taking about. It was a great place to sit docked up.

The Caravelle 267 makes the 187 look very small, the guys were checking the radar, thank you I-phone

Dan's huge 267 can completely block the view of the 187's

The kids collecting sea shells

Thunder storm passing south of us, we had a great view and safe hiding place

For security reasons we will not tell on the kid that had to "go #2", Dad trying to keep the paper dry and swim around the corner. For some reason all of the kids wanted to help.

Home safe under blue skies, the boat should dry by next year's rally. We had a great time and met really good people. Can't wait until next year.

Whoaaa, that's a lot of rain. By the looks of it though, things worked out and you guys still had a good time.

I hope we can make it out next year.

How far of a ride was it from the ramp to there where you all were sitting on the hook?

Where the pictures of the rain were taken is where Cedar Creek Park is on the map. The cove we anchored is is where the dropped pin is at.

GREAT photos!!

Yeh the weather didn't cooperate very well with yawls outing, but the rain was sure welcomed.

Sure hope to make it next year.

Those are great pictures Kevin. I forgot about the fossilized sea shells. They are still in the boat somewhere.
