Hp,

Maybe we could meet half way in Lacrosse and have a CARAVELLE rally for upper and midwesterners . I'm sure buyfire could make it too.

Keep me posted. We usually make an adult only river run from the Quad Cities to McGregor/Prairie every year and could modify if needed.

the earlier we can get our sh&t together, the better chance i've got at being able to make it. the QC to PDC run would be awesome, with all the years i've been on the mississippi, i've never locked through. always had plenty to keep me busy on one pool for the day.

Buyfire - it's a great run!! Once you get north of Clinton, the river opens up and the bluffs start getting bigger and bigger. We put in at LeClarie and have four locks between there and PDC. Assuming we have to wait at two of the locks and a fuel stop in Dubuque, the trip usually takes 7 to 8 hours.

the great majority of my time has been spent on pool 10 (PDC). i've also had a few days on pool 12 (i think) DBQ.

i'm considering the Quad Cities poker run this year, but will probably end up doing the run out of the Winnie on pool 10 instead.

I'm down there every weekend almost on the big boat near Alma. I will have to follow this thread a bit, sounds like a good time. Maybe give me an excuse to spend more time on the little boat. I had it out for 4 hrs only one day last summer.

Sounds great. We are not available on June 23rd. But open July 28th we will just be getting back from Tablerock the weekend before. Also we are open a lot of other weekends if we need to choose another.

Also if anybody wants to suggest another area they like better feel free. I thought this would be in the middle for most of us midwesterners.

i should be able to make pretty much any weekend work as long as we get it figured out soon enough. what are we thinking, up on saturday, down on sunday? i believe you can get overnight docking @ the isle casino docks in marquette if you're staying at their motel. or, there's frenchmans landing campground north of PDC with a beach you could moor at overnight. there are also a couple campgrounds off the main channel we could overnight at if the water levels are good. i'd need to research these a bit to be more specific.
