Just wondering if we had any Caravelle owners in or around St. Louis.

We tend to hit 3 lakes around St. Louis. Mark Twain and Wappapello in Missouri and Lake Carlyle in Illinois.

We visit the St. Louis area quite often as my Inlaws live in St. Charels. Also have 2 sons and their families in the St. Charles/St. Peters area.

We live about 4 hours away on Tablerock Lake close to Branson. We just built a home on the lake last year and are loving it! Moved up from south of Houston, Tx.

Maybe we'll meet on a lake some day.

I saw what looked like a 232 with yellow strips and checked flag graphics in Collinsville Ill today sitting in his driveway. Anyone know who owns that boat?

We are in Herrin, IL. We go over to Kinkaid Lake most of the time. Carlyle is about an 1.5 hours north of us. Have not been on Carlyle because of the distance, is it a good lake. I know it can get really rough because it is so wide open. We also make it up to Rend Lake. It is only about 30 minutes away. Depending on where you are coming from Kinkaid is not a bad drive from the south side of St. Louis.

We live about 20 minutes from Carlyle and when the wind is out of north the lake gets very choppy! However, there are many nice coves that are always calm. Right now lake is very low! If you come out watch for the low areas around point one and near the silos. Water depth in those areas are only a couple of feet and that is out away from the shore.

I live in De Soto, about 35 minutes south of St. Louis. I enjoy Table Rock Lake, but have also been to Clear Water, Pomme de Terre, and Wappapello.
