What is this?

The propeller on your boat has a big impact on the performance of your boat. This is the place to discuss this subject.

What is this?

So when I bought my boat this prop was already on it. The boat runs 60 (gps) with it but the holeshot sucks ( bow rises to the moon if i don't hammer it) and the trim is terrible. I can't do any calculations on what pitch or prop I may need because i have no idea what pitch this one is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only markings I can find are below:

Have you looked at the hub for any markings or information? Typically you would find it there. Try pulling the prop and look there both front and back.
Nice looking prop though. Looks like a nice cleaver cut to it. I'll bet it trims up high and keeps biting!
How are your RPM's at WOT?

Lol, asked you about prop on other post. Anyway, that style prop (cleaver) is designed to run half out of water, for racing boats and such. I like 4 blades for control and better hole shot, and stainless always. I'd sell that one and get a regular stainless style. (I like Enertia's.) Had a 4 blade Apollo that was great too until the hub cracked.

Get the right prop and you'll see better performance all the way around. You'll want to be able to spin at near the max RPM limit at WOT. I'd guess you'd be around 22 to 25 pitch with that 454.

I answered on that post too lol. I'm thinking about a mirage plus 23p.

I had a 2006 232 with a 496MAG and ran a 25P Ballistic 3 blade, that was on a 1.50 drive. 67 GPS and great holeshot. I could give it lots of trim and it really bit in the corners as well. Different hull and engine but similar HP if yours is the 375HP 454MAG. Plus, I believe your hull is slightly lighter than the 2004-plus boats. I'd guess you'll want a 23-25P 3 blade with plenty of stern lift.
Boatless, again.

Pretty sure that is a Hydromotive Quad 4. If you phone the fatcory they can tell you which model from those numbers. They make very specific designs for different applications. Likely not the right prop. http://hydromotive.com/products/propell ... d-iv-x-ob/
The go to prop historically on the 454s has been the Mirage Plus. I have been really happy with mine. Some guys run a 25 p if there gear ration is 1.65. You will get better holeshot out of a 23p or Rev4 if you were doing water sports.
