Forum outages

Postby ncrebel8 » Thu Aug 22, 2013 9:17 am

Just wondering, Is everyone else having issues getting to the forum. I usually try every day. I think I have actually gotten on here once in the last 2 weeks. I keep getting a 404 error. Is this an issue with my internet or with the new host?

After the upgrade, I had to enter the address again into my favorites.

There may have been a few short temporary outages due to issues with our new hosting provider's server. I have noticed this a few times since we switched over. Usually, it is just for a few minutes. If this happens again, try it again a few minutes later - usually it is back up within minutes. I would like to keep track of any other noticed outages. If anyone else has noticed this, please let me know.

Then again, you will get that error if you lose your internet connection. Sometimes, you computer appears to be connected, but the internet signal can go out for a few minutes. When this happens again, try going to a new website (that you have never gone to before, to avoid it being a cached page) to see if that page opens. If not, then you know your signal is out.

Hope this helps.
