Contact Us Link still goes to Caravelle.com

Postby 4Play » Mon Feb 14, 2011 6:41 pm

Just a quick note that I tried to use the "contact us" Link on the "new" Caravelle Website http://www.caravelleboats.net/ and got a failed mail.

:) Here is the thread with the link to the two new sites. http://caravelleboat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5024
And here are the links to the new sites
http://www.caravellepowerboat.com/
http://www.interceptorboat.com/

And here is the contact information.
Sak Marine Co., LLC
Caravelle Plant
111 Mathews Drive
Americus, GA 31709
Phone: 855-444-2628

Doesn't look like they have e-mail setup.

What are you trying to contact them for? Replacement parts?

Regarding email address caravelle@caravelleboats.com . . . where did you find that email address? caravelleboats.com is the former manufacturer's OLD (original) DOMAIN - it was lost during the downtime to someone in China I believe who just renewed it through 2014. If you go there you will see that it is now a site that shows links to various boating related sites. Someone, and I don't know who, moved the OLD WEBSITE to a new domain caravelleboats.net (note the .net) that is registered by an advertising agency in Florida. From what I can tell, it has not been changed or updated since it was moved to the new domain - including the old email address on the contact us page which is still caravelle@caravelleboats.com. The reason you got the error is that that email address is not longer active. The NEW owners have since had to set up their own NEW domains, because they do not have access to caravelleboats.com OR caravelleboats.net (to my knowledge).

Thanks All.

I was just poking around what I thought was the new website at http://www.caravelleboats.net/ and found the link was incorrect. I thought maybe it was just a “miss” so I brought it out in the forum.
I did not need anything important and got my answer to my question on this forum in another thread.
As always, thanks to all who take the time to respond.

I agree that an email address for a contact person for the newly owned Caravelle (dba Sak Marine Company, LLC - Caravelle Plant) would be beneficial. An email address and a contact person is pretty much a "basic" for any website. Hopefully, they will be ready for that soon.
