Wakeboard Towers

Postby Aceshigh » Sun Feb 07, 2016 9:54 am

We bought a 2014 22ebi last spring and it came with a wakeboard tower. My problem is I am unable to go under a certain bridge that connects another lake on our chain. My dealer hasn't been much help. Anyone have any advice on a quick release that could easily fold the tower temporarily?

It's very disappointing that the dealer couldn't help? It is unusual that the tower doesn't fold reasonably easy , I've got a Lightning tower and it is bloody hard to fold and it is very heavy, I need a helping hand to fold it and put it up.
What brand tower is it? Can you please post some photos of it, especially the feet.

Try searching for "Quick Release" on boat hardware sites. Maybe you'll see something that will work for your tower.

Sorry I'm going blind , can you post a close up of the feet and a closer side on view of the tower.I'm surprised that the dealer is unwilling or too lazy to help you.
Your tower looks similar to what my friend has on his bayliner and it is easy to fold.
